To use the Harmonic Waveform Calculator:

  1. Select the type of waveform you want to analyze by choosing the "Square", "Triangle", or "Trapezoidal" tab.
  2. Enter the period of the waveform, the number of periods to display, the number of harmonics to calculate, and any other information about the waveform requested in the boxes below the tabs.
  3. Click on the Calculate button.
The waveform is plotted in the area above the tabs in the time and frequency domain. Values of the function displayed are listed to the right of the plots.

For each plot, you can use the mouse to first click inside the plot-window at one point then drag and release at another point. This will result in a zooming operation. If the motion is from the upper-left toward the lower-right, then you will zoom into the selected region. If the motion is from the lower-left toward the upper-right, a zoom-out will take place. The "fill" button will bring back the auto-scaled plot.
